Partial Rotary Electric Actuator for ball and butterfly valves

Electricity is our thing, too!

Compressed air is not available everywhere in production facilities. In some cases, compressed air is even prohibited for hygienic reasons, and some production processes require slow closing valves to prevent turbulence in the system. We offer our new electrical rotary actuators for cases like these. These actuators were designed specifically for 90° ball and butterfly valves and offer maximum functional reliability. The actuators offer outstanding compatibility and can also be retrofitted using an AWH retainer bracket. Actuator type DQ, with a power transmission of roughly 50 N, can reliably switch butterfly valves up to max. NW 100. The compact design and the easy-to-clean surface are further positive features of the actuators. The LED-illuminated position indicator that is easy to read, even from a great distance, is another highlight. Inside, a powerful electric motor with an optimally coordinated, self-locking worm reduction unit provides the necessary power. The sturdy housing is made of polyester-coated aluminum. In the event of a power failure, the valve can be actuated mechanically via a manual emergency function. For this purpose, there is a crank drive for manual opening and closing. The corresponding hexagon key is fitted below the drive and available for emergencies. Our range includes 220 volt and 380 volt versions.

Typical applications include:

- production facilities without compressed air supply

- areas where clean room conditions are required for production

- processes that require slow valve opening and closing
